Computer Access at the Library
Computers, Printers, and Wireless Internet
The library offers free access to the internet,and the Microsoft Office Suite which includes Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Powerpoint on our 9 public access computers. The library has Computer Use and Behavior policies that must be followed.
Each computer has a USB and audio ports. You may use your device (camera, phone, media card with card reader) with our computers, but patron assumes all risk when doing so. Patrons may bring headphones or purchase them at the library. Sound must be kept at a level that does not disturb staff or patrons of the library.
The library has a computerized "waiting list" that can be used by patrons to reserve a computer when they are all occupied. Each session is 30 minutes, with a maximum of 2 sessions per day. Additional time may be allowed based upon availability at the discretion of the library staff.
The library has high speed wireless internet that can be accessed from smart phones, tablets, and laptop computers.
Printing is available from both the library's computers and personal devices. Printing charges are 15 cents for a page of black and white printing and 50 cents for a page of color printing.
Ancestry.com Laptops
The library offers free access to the Library Edition of Ancestry.com at the library. You may use our computers, your own laptop, or you may borrow one of our two laptops that were purchased for use with Ancestry.com.
