• Lego and Rubik‚Äôs Cube Club

    Let the brain games begin!   • Conversational French Language Group
    Thursday, June 1 at 6 p.m.

  • Fiber Arts Group

    All are welcome to join our Fiber Arts Group.  
    If you embroider, cross-stitch, sew, weave, quilt, whatever you do - if it’s done with fiber and it’s portable, we welcome you.

    The Wells Public Library will be hosting an educator from ReVision Energy to speak with us about solar energy.     Please join us for our new Tech Tuesday program series! For our first Tech Tuesday, Adult Services Librarian Andrea Kazilionis will instruct attendees how to access eBooks and eAudio books using CloudLibrary. CloudLibrary provides FREE eBooks and eAudio books to anyone with a Wells Public Library Card. Attendees will learn how to load the CloudLibrary program on compatible devices, how to find eBooks and eAudio books, and how to request and borrow items.   • Meditation Group with Wellness Coach Cindy Simon

The Wells Public Library will be closed on
Monday, May 29
in observance of Memorial Day.  

We will reopen at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, May 30.



 

New Download Library Information

The Maine InfoNet Download Library has taken on a brand new e-book and e-Audiobook platform called cloudLibrary. This replaced the Overdrive platform beginning March 1.
 
To access the new service, simply download the app for your device by going to: http://yourcloudlibrary.com/index.php/en-us/how-it-works
or go to:
http://download.maineinfonet.org
and follow the links to login via your library.  
 
**With Maine’s new download library, patrons will need to opt-in to receive email notifications. If you would like to receive emails when your cloudLibrary loans are expiring or if you’d like to be notified when your holds become available – don’t forget to opt-in!

To do this, simply sign into your cloudLibrary app. At the top of the screen, click on “Settings”.  Under the heading “Email Notification” select “Yes, notify me”, then enter your email address in the text box that appears.**
 
*Users of Kindle devices should be advised that the Kindle Fire (2nd generation or newer) works with the cloudLibrary, but e-ink Kindles do not.*
