• ​Maine Poet Laureate Stuart Kestenbaum

  • Meditation Group
    Wednesday, April 26 at 12 p.m.

  • Teen Craft
    Wednesday, April 26 at 2 p.m.

    Stop by the library one Wednesday in each month to try out a new craft!  This month we’ll be crafting rainbow stress balls.   • Conversational French Language Group
    Thursday, April 27 at 6 p.m.

  • Fiber Arts Group
    Friday, April 28 at 10:30 a.m.

    All are welcome to join our Fiber Arts Group.  
    If you embroider, cross-stitch, sew, weave, quilt, whatever you do - if it’s done with fiber and it’s portable, we welcome you.

  • Lego and Rubik‚Äôs Cube Club

    Let the brain games begin!   • Lunch and Learn: Honeybees with farmer Frank Ferrucci
    Friday, May 5 at 12 p.m.

  • Trivia Night

    The Wells Public Library will be hosting our first ever Trivia Night. Teams of 3-6 people will compete against each other for the chance to win great prizes. What’s the theme of the evening? It’s All Things Maine! All questions will be focused on Maine history, famous Maine residents, Maine pastimes, and more!  Registration is not required, but it is requested.   • ​Needle Felting with Danielle Bonney
    Thursday, May 25 at 2:30 p.m.

    Back by popular demand: Needle Felting! Danielle Bonney will be at the library to teach another of her famous needle felting classes. Past participants in Danielle’s classes have been overjoyed to learn the skill of needle felting. All supplies will be provided – just bring yourself and a desire to learn. New Download Library Information

The Maine InfoNet Download Library has taken on a brand new e-book and e-Audiobook platform called cloudLibrary. This will replace the Overdrive platform, beginning March 1.

To access the new service, simply download the app for your device by going to: http://yourcloudlibrary.com/index.php/en-us/how-it-works or go to http://download.maineinfonet.org and follow the links to login via your library.  

 
**With Maine’s new download library, patrons will need to opt-in to receive email notifications. If you would like to receive emails when your cloudLibrary loans are expiring or if you’d like to be notified when your holds become available – don’t forget to opt-in!

To do this, simply sign into your cloudLibrary app. At the top of the screen, click on “Settings”.  Under the heading “Email Notification” select “Yes, notify me”, then enter your email address in the text box that appears.**
 
*Users of Kindle devices should be advised that the Kindle Fire (2nd generation or newer) works with the cloudLibrary, but e-ink Kindles do not.*
